Terms and Conditions for Book(keeping) Club
1. Membership and Payment
1.1. By subscribing to Book(keeping) Club, you agree to pay the membership fee of $99 for the first month and $199/month thereafter.
1.2. Payments will be automatically charged to your provided payment method each month until you cancel or pause your subscription.
1.3. Memberships can be paused upon request. During a pause, no meetings or resources will be accessible, and billing will temporarily stop. Membership can be resumed at any time, subject to availability and prevailing rates.
2. Refund Policy
2.1. A full refund of your first payment is available if you attend your first meeting and contact us before your second meeting to cancel.
2.2. Beyond the first meeting, no refunds are available for any reason, except as outlined in Section 3.3.
2.3. You may pause your membership at any time. While paused, you will not be billed and will not have access to meetings or resources.
3. Meeting Attendance and Scheduling
3.1. Book(keeping) Club meetings occur four times per month. Once per quarter, no meetings will be held to allow for a break.
3.2. Meeting links and reminders will be sent to the email address associated with your membership. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds.
3.3. If a meeting is canceled by the Club (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances), a partial refund equivalent to one week's membership cost will be provided.
4. Respectful Communication and Privacy
4.1. Members are expected to maintain a respectful and professional environment during meetings. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or any behavior that makes others feel uncomfortable will not be tolerated. Members who engage in such behavior may have their membership terminated without refund.
4.2. Book(keeping) Club is a judgment-free space. Members are encouraged to ask questions and share concerns without fear of criticism or ridicule.
4.3. Members must respect the confidentiality of others. Sharing, recording, or disseminating any discussions, questions, or business details shared during meetings without explicit permission is prohibited.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. All materials provided by Book(keeping) Club, including but not limited to videos, checklists, and guides, are proprietary and protected by copyright laws. These materials are for personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
5.2. Discussions within Book(keeping) Club may involve proprietary information about other members’ businesses or processes. Members agree to respect this confidentiality and refrain from using or sharing such information without explicit consent.
6. Liability Waiver
6.1. Book(keeping) Club provides guidance and education to assist members in managing their bookkeeping. However, the final responsibility for all bookkeeping and financial decisions rests with the member.
6.2. By joining Book(keeping) Club, you agree to waive any claims against the Club or its representatives for any losses, errors, or damages arising from the use of advice or materials provided.
7. Membership Cancellation
7.1. Memberships can be canceled or paused at any time by contacting us via email. Cancellation or pausing is effective immediately upon request.
7.2. Upon cancellation, access to meetings, materials, and resources will end at the close of your billing cycle. Paused memberships will have access suspended but can resume upon request.
8. Modification of Terms
8.1. We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued participation in Book(keeping) Club constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
9.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Dakota, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
10. Member Well-Being and Support
10.1. Book(keeping) Club is a collaborative environment designed to support members as they navigate the challenges of bookkeeping and financial management. We encourage open communication and will do our best to create a space where members feel seen, heard, and supported.
10.2. If a member feels overwhelmed, intimidated, or unsure about any aspect of their bookkeeping, they are encouraged to reach out privately for support. We aim to provide reassurance and tailored solutions to help you move forward.
10.3. Members are encouraged to step away or pause their membership if they feel their personal well-being is at risk due to stress or other challenges. We understand life happens and support a no-pressure approach to participation.
11. Meeting Conduct and Safe Spaces
11.1. To maintain a safe, distraction-free environment, members agree to limit interruptions during meetings (e.g., background noise or off-topic discussions). If distractions occur, the moderator reserves the right to mute participants or request they rejoin at a later time.
11.2. Private breakout rooms are available for sensitive questions or concerns. Members are encouraged to use these spaces to maintain comfort and discretion.
11.3. Members will be notified if any changes to meeting structure, topics, or additional resources occur, ensuring clarity and trust in the process.
